Public Safety Ranger

The Downtown Development District is looking for outstanding citizens to represent the City as part of the Public Safety Ranger Program. The primary purpose of the Ranger Program is to keep Downtown safe by acting as eyes and ears for the NOPD and notifying them of any suspicious activity. Rangers are also trained in First Aid and CPR. In addition to the safety services, Rangers are also trained in customer service and New Orleans history and are available to provide directions and information in and around Downtown.

Candidates should have strong verbal communications skills and a passion for improving the City of New Orleans.
