A holiday parade, outdoor concert, and large-scale, festive decorations will remind business owners, residents and visitors alike of nostalgic shopping experiences along New Orleans' most historic grand corridor.

DDD "Streetcar Named Inspire" Installed at Basin and Canal

The DDD-sponsored "Streetcar Named Inspire" was installed this morning at the corner of Basin and Canal Streets, right next to the Young Leadership Council's own streetcar. The location and adjacency of the two streetcars is symbolic of the partnership between the two organizations and their dedication to creating an open-air arts and entertainment pavillion at the site with money raised from the "Streetcar Named Inspire" program.
